Our Activities

We deliver education and public engagement through policy research, in-person events, and accessible development programmes that strengthen dialogue on the UK’s role in global security.

Get Closer to Policy in Practice

Whether you’re exploring international relations for the first time, or building a path into diplomacy, policy, or security, ACUK activities offer a practical next step. Join Oxbridge seminars, learn from senior practitioners, and develop research you can publish, while meeting people who share your motivations and concerns for our common future.

NATO Briefing Visits

Since 1993, ACUK has had the unique privilege of leading briefing visits to NATO HQ and SHAPE in Brussels. Attendees have the opportunity to meet with senior diplomatic and military personnel, and exchange ideas in fascinating off-the-record discussions. These are convivial visits that also take in the local pace of life in Brussels, and often include excursions of historical interest, including the Waterloo Memorial in Mons.

Oxford, Cambridge and London Seminars

Taking place within the quiet walls of perhaps Oxford's most picturesque college, this year ACUK will be taking The Erosion of International Society as its theme. With a formidable array of speakers flying in from as far afield as the UN mission in Afghanistan, this is an exceptional opportunity to bolster your knowledge, CV, and network. Places are strictly limited. Early reservation recommended.
